How We Select Recipients

Because the need in our community is great and our resources are limited, we cannot always help everyone immediately. To ensure fairness, a dedicated committee reviews every request we receive. We vote on an order of precedence based on three main factors:

  1. Urgency of Safety: Vehicles with dangerous mechanical issues take priority.

  2. Impact on Livelihood: We prioritize repairs that allow someone to keep their job or get to essential medical appointments.

  3. Family Stability: We look at how the lack of a vehicle is affecting the household (e.g., getting kids to school or care for a disabled family member).

We treat every story with dignity and confidentiality. If you are not selected immediately, your application remains active for future consideration as funds become available.
